the headlights are not straight up blue, but very bright with a blue tint to them, plus since my car is dark blue and i have blue neon inside it all kinda goes together pretty good!

...were the H3 bulbs you purcased 55W? If so, did you touch the bulbs w/your hands during installation?

Okay installed the low beam sylvania sliver stars, love them..thinking of picking up the ones for the highbeams as well....

QUESTION: since sylvania doesn't have any for the foglights which company can get me the same super white effect for the fog lights at as resonable a price as the sliverstars were :?:

...the foglights use a 55W H3 bulb, actually I just installed my Osram All Season bulbs. I can't wait to see what they look like tonight. It was a pain to install them thanks to the snow and the ice. Anyways, why would you want hyperwhite foglights? As most hyperwhite bulbs produce their effect by blocking out the yellow light that is produced. In a foglight you want this yellow/white light so that the foglights actually aid in visibilty when they are required (fog, rain, and snow).

Silver starts runs $25 each + 5% tax.. but they sold out of 9006s everywhere I checked.. not many places carry them as well..

Do you guys know when does the rebate expire? It doesn't say on the rebate form.

    Peace

...I installed my Silverstar 9005s last night and they are much brighter than the OEM Sylvanias, I would have to say I'm quite pleased w/them. The installl was kind of funky on the drivers side light b/c you have to move the air box snorkel if you don't have a CAI. The manual says to unscrew it using a philips head screwdriver. However, if your car is like mine it may be a flat clip, you can carefully pry this up w/a flathead screwdriver and then move the snorkel to the left. It's still a tight fit, if you can remove your battery tie down that may help as well.

    Fog Lights....

I know alot of people already changed their fog lights but i was just wonderin if it was hard tryin to change them??? Im not sure if im correct but can u see the nut that holds the fogs in when pop the hood and look below? Bcoz i could see some sort of bolt down there thats threaded onto a long thread and i can sory reach it. Or would it be much easier to go underneath instead???

...you have to go under the front of the car to change the fog light bulbs. Just stick your head under there and you'll see the nut, just don't do this in the snow and ice like I did...the entire assembly just slidea out after the nut is off.

it is really easy to change the foglight bulbs. if you crawl under the front of your car. there will be on bolt holdong the whole foglamp assembly in. unscrew that, and twist off the wireharness from the back of the foglamp housing.
then the whole thing will slide out towards the front of the bumper. remove the spring clip switch bulbs (((((((((((((((((((((( dont touch the bulb)))))))))))))))), put the spring clip back in, push assembly back onto the front bumper
screw in the wire harness from behind and tighten bolt. finished!

would the bulbs have a chance of being damaged if we touched them wearing gloves?
