How to increase performance of 1NZ FE

Hai, i'm new here. Can anybody give some idea to improve the performance of the above engine without the use of forced induction.

    My current set up:-

    Engine : 1NZ FE 1.5L VVT-i

This what i have packed into my engine bay:-

    Broquet fuel catalyst
    Pivot volt stabiliser
    Aerospeed Grounding wire
BMC Carbon Dynamic Airbox (Replace my stock air filter and air box)
Carbon fibre angine cover (additional 5hp :) )

So far no major mod done to improve performance except for the BMC filter. Nice intake sound at high RPM.

Initially thought of getting a new set of exhaust system, but the problem is i only can change the muffler and the piping up to the catalytic converter. Thought of removing the xat converter but the problemis there is 2 sensor attached to it before and after the cat converter.

Well extractor? None in my country yet. Got some original TRD extractor but the price for it just not worth it.

    Any ideas...

i still wish there was a way to put a 1zzfe engine in those.... the engine size is the only thing that is keeping me from getting one

if u want a faster car get another car. its not smart financially to, for example, to make it as fast as a corolla when you should have just bought a corolla in the first place.

The Echo and Corolla acceleration times are about equal, folks. The Echo is 500 lbs. lighter.

So we're talking 130hp for 2500lbs (19.25lbs./hp) or 108hp for 2000lbs. (18.5lbs/hp). Going by that, the Echo would be slightly faster.

That's an interesting article by ELP... I guess if you want reliable f/i you're going to have to keep the boost down to 5 psi or so. :(

Until all the forged internals are available, that is.

I would love to swap a 2ZZGE into an Echo! :D
