I haven't heard of bulbs yellowing before. It could be because they use cheap bulbs. I dunno.

dragonhuntur, is it possible for you to take a pic of your lights against a wall/garage? I like to see how HID lighs look in a non-HID housing, cause my friends' cars with HIDs all have a sharp cutoff, do you have somewhat of a cutoff?

There is no cutoff...it just dims the light...that's why I want to do a retrofit.

This may be a stupid question but do people bright you all the time because of how bright they are and also do HID lights have brights or do you even need them?

And did Vamp get his yet?

I think someone flashed their high beams like once in the 6 months I've had them. The "brights" don't do anything. You don't need them becasue you can see so good with the HID's.

How much did it cost you? Everytime I click on the link it just pulls up pics of your headlights.

It cost me $375 to do. I got the projectors from a friend for $350 out of a wrecked Porsche Carerra. It included the Lens assemblies, Bulbs, Ballasts & Ignitors (all phillips brand). Then I spent $25 on mounting hardware I needed to adapt it (Bolts, Springs, LockNuts, Washers, etc). I also had a friend that does stuff like this for living that helped me with the whole thing otherwise I would have just messed it all up :) It takes a bit of an artistic eye and experience to get them looking right. But I'm super impressed with the outcome and think they look absolute awesome! Plus they have a unique look when you put them into a housing that used to have a halogen bulb.

I would consider doing that, but as many headlights as I've gone though (from people hitting me), I don't want to bother.

Is Sean2Sean still around? I'm looking to have a retrofit done, but I don't want to pay www.illusion-lighting.com prices.
