    I'm not sure. I work at a computer parts store though and everyone there is pretty amazed that the drive works when we get people bringing in terabyte drives that failed in a week. Maybe one day there'll be a computer parts museum and they'll buy my part for millions >:D

    Well I definitely think that technology's quality is decreasing. Things are made to fail, because they will be obsolete so quickly (and that way you have to buy another lol).

    Agreed. Although with all computer parts and electronics you shouldn't buy anything you're not willing to replace in a year or two.
