    He has 5 mm spacers in back in his sig pic which would put his "true" offset at +15. Still pretty far off from 0

    yeah. still looks like a +25 would be possible to fit under there sort of easy. im still hesitant to pull the trigger on my wheel choice.

    Now i am hesitant, i just want something with a lot of lip still, but thats pokey! I am going with 16s instead and plan on pulling a little and a little negative camber, so maybe it want be as bad as this^?

    His fenders are very much pulled....

    If you go with 16, you'll have even more trouble fitting tires in there. Since he's using 15s, he's got more space to stretch a narrow tire on there.

    But yeah, that's definitely mexiflush lol... tiny wheels, too much stretch, and lots of wheel gap.

    Personally I like the stretch, but I agree there is too much gap and not enough low. But it would be impossible to go any lower with wheels poking that far out. I am planning in 16s and more low. Throw some suggestions at me! I like deep dish. Thanks for all the input guys I think I avoided a disaster.

    Well offset isn't the only thing that determines how deep the lip is, it's all in the rim design. Unfortunately, the pictures they show are only of one offset, so it's usually impossible to tell.

    What I mean is that some wheels can have more lip than other at the same offset, depending on how the spokes go.

    Right, so if they curve towards the inside of the car on the outer rim the lip will be larger.

    How much negative camber would I need to make those look good? Or should I just abandon the xxr 02s. The only other offset is +38 on a 7" rim.

    Yeah, go with convex wheels for a deeper lip!

    I don't really think that negative camber looks good.... it's a balance.

    So here's an old and new civic on 15x8 et0 rota grid v's and the fitement looks perfect! But they look like they have a lot of negative camber. I'm guessing the distance between fender and hub is more on the civic than the corolla?

    more than likely, yes the hub to fender distance is different. i wish rota made the grid v's in a size i want. they look good, but 0 offset is just to low for me.

    I love that old civic, minus the shit fender roll, stickers, and curb scrapers. They make a et20 rota grid v. Im undecided between the rota grid v 15x8 et20 and the xxr 521 16x8 et20.

    What if i went with the rota grid v 15x7 et0? That would be equal to like a 15x8 et12? I could still get the deep dish im looking for without as much poke?

    I just don't get why the 15x8 et0's i posted earlier look like they poke even less than these? Is it the camber?

    That Civic looks much better lol. Yeah the first one really turned me off with the ratty fender roll job. Really ruins the whole stance IMO.

    The deep on the first one though :eek:. I wish i knew what the camber was on that first civic.
