Hey, whats goin on man, havent talked to u in a while. Hows your project going? yea i know bout the red top prizm's, those bastards!!! lol well i got the 7a-fe at the moment so cant complain much. I wish i lived by someone who could do my swap at a decent price. shops cost an arm and a leg and a new born baby and the house and... you get the picture lol. I think ill drive this motor to the ground before i do a swap but hey u never know. My ultimate dream, throw in the 3sgte without much change to the exterior :ninjastea

could be, but a 1000 is still rare and i wonder how many of those are still running

so who wants to come help a brotha out lol

Same shit different day bro, everything is good here man and still working with these 4AG Corollas. If you want, come down for a weekend with your car, and drive back up with a fresh 4AG(Z)E or 20valve swap in your car:D

Yea I can have it done in a weekend. I can have the swap done in a few hours, I just gotta have my friend do the wiring which will be another few hours. If you serious about doing it sometime, let me know in advance so I can make arrangements for your car and for my friend to be available also.

Sorry Pedro for the thread jack:D

A 3SGTE would defeat the purpose of a Corolla. It would be front heavy, unable to handle well, current chassis/frame would be too weak, and gas mileage would drop of course. If all you want is to go fast in a straight line, then go for it. Otherwise, another car with more power and designed around more power would be more sound. Did I mention the Corolla is FWD too? :D

^^ Exactly, I wanted to turbo my corolla for a while, but then I realized its FWD and that much power would not be able to be put to the ground. Now I want an MR2 or a Miata, then turbo.

Get an MR2, you wont be mad you did. Also, with the right setup on your car, a high HP fwd cars can put power to the ground. Its all in the setup bro;)

i know what you mean, i guess it all depends on how much $$$ u got and are you able to live with it day in and day out. How about the 4agze with slghtly higher boost than the stock, maybe a few psi, i think that should be fast enough and reliable

MR2's are completly different cars, different charactersitics and yea, every other MR2 has been modded somehow. Prizm I like cause 1) i love the shape of it, 2) its a sedan, could be made a sleeper, well so could any other car but theres just something bout sedans being able to blow the doors of a sports car lol 3) yes granter there are prizm's with swaps, but come on now, its only a handful, im talkin bout prizm, not corolla, so looking at all that, id want my prizm to have something special, this is something in the future but i wanna start researching now. And TE31Rolla, Im comin to you whenever i do go for the swap plus never been to florida so would be a nice trip with my wife :p

That is why I chose the Prizm over the Corolla, granted they are the same but at the same time they are not. It has a different look compared to the corolla and also people will not expect the Prizm to be a fast car at all.

93geoprizm, whenever your ready. Just let me know, Pedro lives right down the road from me, so you can check out his car and some other cars I have done while your here.....
