Today on the O'reilly Factor they talked about why is no one in the Gov. talking about the reason for the hike in prices. No one knows why. The AAA said that becuse the company that sells to us (Opex?) not sure of the name, but basicly there making the price go up by limiting the amount.http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,113701,00.html

Fl its about $1.95 for the 93 octane i'm now forced to use...not too bad though, turbo brought the cars gas millage up like 3 mpg.

I sure as hell hope prices reach $3 a gallon, i hate all those SUV's on the road, thatll force them to make em more fuel efficent really quickly

OPEC = Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries. These countries would include Venezuela, Algeria, Nigeria, Libya, UAE (Saudi Arabia), Iraq and Iran. The President would like us to believe that we only purchase oil from "friendly" nations like Saudi Arabia.

OPEC is the classic example of a cartel.

anyone know that we have enough oil in this country to supply us for 100 more years or something. we produce so much oil but use so little of it. we have something like 500 oil wells and produce 10 barells per day per well, and the other countries have like 20-50 oil wells and produce like 500 barells total per day. its crazy. we also import crude oil from countris like mexico and venezuela. its a conspiracy how bush has kept out oil under covers through all these price hikes. seein as how he's from Texas and prolly owns a couple of these wells (cough...$$$$$...cough cough)

I'd have to agree with Tom. I just paid 2.49 at Shell. And I believe my car is running "rich" with the S/C on. I'd say down with SUV's, but my wife owns a 4Runner and it kicks ass, 'cept for the $50.00 it cost to fill the tank. Thank God she only works five miles away from home.

thats not nice. my wife drives a Suv and the main reason its 4wd for the winters here in ohio for safety. it seats 7 with the 3 rows and sitll only gets 1 mpg worse then our old mini van. i love our durango. 17 mpg is not that bad. $30 for a full tank

now for my truck at 13 mpg well its a work truck with a big gas engine$40 for a full tank. i just wish i could have afforded a cummins and got almost 20 mpg. anyway not all of us driving suvs are trying to kill the enviroment. its the people who drive a esclade/surburban/excursain cause its cool. or just to have something big. i need what i have and use it all the time.

give me something safe that gets ok mpg and gets my family safely from point A-B no matter what the weather is. Rain/Snow/ Sunny
