how do you figure? throughout the price changes in crude we haven't seen significant price changes at the pump... a few cents here and there but NOTHING reflecting the cost flucuations we've seen in crude.

given that a compnay can charge over $1 for a litre of water and millions of people buy it without crying they are being gouged for water...... This is turn reflects the opinion that gas prices are still too low since you must drill the oil and then refine the oil. Then still not even make $1 a litre. Yet all Dasani does is fill up a truck run the water through some carbon and some Ozone and voila $1.60 a litre.

how could you blame the gas stations? the more they have to pay for has the higher they have to sell it. people dont open gas stations to lose money.

Gas stations are along for the ride.....there are laws against price gouging. The cost at the gas station is directly related to the price that they have to buy it for. Which is directly related to what the price of crude oil is costing.

Around Norwalk, CA the price for 87 is about $2.39. Also there was a thing around a walmark of this lady asking people to sign a petition to remove state/federal taxes from gasoline. I know about .20 cents tax per gallon goes to the state. To anybody that know where do state tax on gasoline use for??
