    Fog light switch keeps melting

Hey guys, i have after market fog lights, the way its hooked up is directly to the battery, i have the black wire thats grounded in the engine bay in 2 different spots, and iv checked for tears and rips but havent found any. I was told I could connect the power wire to the cassette player but i cant find where on the back, iv gone through about 3 switches now, after about 20 minutes the switch starts to melt and the wires burn. Any solutions?

Use a higher amp switch and/or change to a metal one.

i found out that my wires connecting to the switch werent inserted fully so they were barely touching so i guess the heat just built up. fixed it by connecting the wires more securely.

Hey shut your damn face, that's a rare opportunity. Well not really, you spell shit wrong all the time, but as far as using the wrong word, that's pretty rare.
