    Well, yeah considering how this entire conversation has been about the Sportcross, and I happened to have pictures of one.

    Yes, my gas shock lifters are aftermarket. I bought them with the hood. I gotta have my lifters lol.

    Yeah it's so nice and convenient... just pop the hood from the inside, then unlatch it and flip it up. Then slam it closed. On this car, the stock hood bar is on the hood itself, so you unclip it and drop it down to hold up the hood. It was a PIA.

    1. it doesn't weigh enough to close on it's own (I can't drop it closed like the stock hood) and 2. I pushed on it once too hard to close it, and the clear coat got all cracked. So yeah, now I "slam" it enough to latch it without needing to push or force it closed.
