    Sure.

On another note, I know this guy who spent about $9,000 swapping in a 3rd gen 3S-GTE into this 6th gen Celica ST.

^^^ probably because they started in an ST..... though, the TRUE knowledgeable people really know how much fabrication goes into the mounts *rolls eyes*.... one mount...

in any case.... i love that strut bar... where did he get it?

the ST was *rated* at 160hp..... they rarely show much more than 120whp on the dyno, however......

we'll see what my smallport will do with this on it here soon..... then 7afe headgasket (better than shaving the head) and some bigport cams that someone owes me....

we'll see how far a 4afe ecu can go.... :)

Ouch! The one in my shop right now totalled I think $5000 including the auto/manual conversion and everything.

Tom, I'm not sure on the strut bar, I've never seen another one like it. I'll ask him for ya. Is that a silvertop manifold?

For that much I would've sold the ST, got myself a GT, and then swapped in the 3S-GTE.

I forgot to point out that he had ordered and installed some extras with the swap, so that brough up the price a bit. Anywho, good progress on the Celica. You're entering the dreaded part...wiring!

that srut bar is a trd style upper strut bar for the ae 101 but since the ae92-ae111 are pretty much same suspension parts it fit on that ae92...heres the link http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/TRD-...020QQitemZ300237143229QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW

    Nope.

AE101 or AE111 strutbars WOULD NOT fit an AE92.

Hmm.. Is that a AE92 Wagon?!!!

I don't mind old threads being brought up if its for a good reason... 90% of the time though, its not.. hahah.. but yeah i say this because in other forums which i'm not really a regular on, I always bring up old threads because I have questions regarding the same subject that was never answered..
