    no you would not. if you did a full exhaust system then you would.

    Really? That's the first. Mine only screams at higher RPMs and at WOT, same feedback from other users I know.

    Hopefully your friend didn't get a knock-off.:confused:

    Swapping the OEM catalytic converter for a high flow will not net you any advantage - dyno pulls with the OEM and high flow cats in place versus a test pipe (de-cat) have shown no change in power and possibly 1HP gain max. Not worth the expense, unless you have to replace the catalytic converter that has already died. Sound wise, might be a shift in the frequency of the exhaust note - but your resonator and muffler will have the greatest impact on the final sound generated.

    Fish is correct. A resonator will also tend to smooth out the exhaust tone and eliminate any ricy pop.
