i can tell you the paint i used. if you want. tamiya clear orange. find it at your local hoppy shop. same for smoking tails.

i had red tails too. and smoked. its all cool.

haha its all good. i need to change my transmission fluid. and oil dang.

ah youll notice a difference when you change it out. i love changing my oil cuz it feels like it pulls quite a bit harder. im starting to change my oil every 2500 to 3000 miles to make my motor last longer. plus im ALWAYS on the gas so it really helps. same with my tranny fluid except i leave that in for 30,000 miles as opposed to 50,000 to 100,000 or most cars NEVER...

i usually change my oil every 3000 miles also. i also changed my spark plugs for liek the third time in the past year to denso iridiums, i should try ngks tho. but i dont think ive change my transmission fluid since i got it. and my transmission was tripping out in summer :[

@Mack I used the same stuff as exdream the Tamiya clear orange. works great but dont be afraid how nasty yellow it looks at first. I had to put on like 15-20 coats no joke haha. And make sure you wet sand before applying the paint or you will get the runs

I use Royal Purple oil in my car and still change it every 3k miles. I can drive for 2000 miles and my dipstick is still clean and clear. I also have Royal Purple gear oil in my tranny. (its a 5speed now)

As for plugs I got the pulstar plugs at 25.00 each and those by far are one of the best investments in my car today.

and @CorollaGT i dont understand how some manufactures can guarantee fluids in cars for so long. I work at a car shop, and most of the newer toyotas have lifetime trans fluid in them! its ridiculous. And some of the new Chryslers have a rivet over the dipstick and can only be touched by the dealership. If I still had an automatic in my car, you could bet your ass it would have fresh fluid every 30k and filter every other trans change.

royal purple is expesive but its really good. also try mobile one.. shits fantastic. im currently using valvoline max life cuz i can get 5 quarts and a filter for 20 bucks but as soon as that deal is up its back to mobile one for me.

@kryptic yeah i agree with that. although tranny oil doesn't need to be changed that often over time little parts of metal come off your gears and shit. if you dont change it, that could mean then end of you transmission as we know it.lullzz

that too. i try to never let my engine go over 3k when its not up to temperature. my dad freaked out when i revved his car when it was cold. the guy almost had a heart attack.lol
