finished all my doors. the right doors seemed harder than the left doors. but i finally got the fabric tucked away.

theres several types of fabric to use. theres satin, the one that is mentioned in the DIY. only problem is that it stains when ANY liquid gets on it. i used this nylon material that was about as thin as the satin but didnt get the shine. so its up to you, i guess the important thing is that you like it, its thing enough to tuck in, and it wont stain(unless you have the time to take it all out clean and put it back in everytime something stains it)

Hey 2003C-RollaCE, did you get that idea from Vamp from Corolla Customz?

I remeber doing that to my 99 rolla last summer, i must have chose the bulkiest fabric ever! I think it was black fleece. Surprisingly all the doors except for the driver's side looked good.

I finally got the chance to do my inserts this weekend. Turned out really nice. I painted the center console and the little plastic pieces where the power window switch is also. suprisingly it only took 2 hour to get everything done. :D 8)
I'll post pics hopefully tonight when I get my digi cam back from a friend.

on a Mineral Green Opalescent color light green is a pretty good color to use or biege if you want it to match the interior color. I have the same color car so heres what it looks like with light green inserts:

has anybody tried to use leather? i'm thinking about changing mine to silver leather. i think it would give it a more natural look. i think the only problem i can predict is that it won't fit because it's too thick. what do you guys think?
