And BoMeX never made their kit for this chassis, so it was never an original to begin with!

from reading the updates, the 7th gen knuckles put the tie rods at the wrong angle for a stock height corolla... but what about a lowered corolla? i know from lowering many cars, that bump steer is an issue and it almost sounds like those knuckles could eliminate bump steer or at least reduce it. but it also sounds like you need a shorter axle? like it was putting it into a bind?

it also sounds like if dr tweak said use the corolla/matrix/celica knuckles, then it must work, just needs to be realigned. not a big deal really.

    Hahaha, nice.

I think it gets much better when you're lower. My steering tie rods are almost parallel now (which means my LCA is past parallel). Bump steer is as minimized as I've ever felt it.

yeah, its not too bad right now really. my miata was worse. hell it was horrible in the rain, it would bump steer and the back end would get all nervous from -1.5* camber and a bit of toe in. but nice dry ground on a warm day... curvy back road... dear god!

So what's up with rear toe? What should I be running for MAXIMUM CORNERING PROWESS?

    Front toe?

well, since the miata uses double wishbones front and rear, you have a wee bit of toe in, in the rear. this is mostly because its a rwd vehicle and will make it more stable in the straights and a bit easier to get the rear to rotate in a corner. as for entire alignment specs on the miata, it was as follows:
    front:
    toe: 0'd out.
    camber: -1 degree
    caster: 5 degrees

    rear:
    toe: -0.2 degrees
    camber: -1.5 degrees

fwd vehicles are a bit different to setup for handling, esp ones like the corolla. i try not to run much toe, if any, on the corolla, cus it eats up tires much quicker than the miata. for the corolla, right now i am currently at :
    front:
    toe:0'd out
    camber:-1.5
    caster: not adjustable

    rear:
    toe: 0'd out
    camber: -1.5

it handles fine, no abnormal tire wear. the miata would eat through a set of dunlop direzzas in about 8-10k, so far with the corolla, im at 10k on the nitto neo gens and still plenty of thread.
