Finally. Glad to see you making some progress on this!

You should probably replace the stock speakers though lol. Darn rivets.

I wish I had a lake in front of my house like that.

Well it has some kind of mesh thing over it, but of course all the leaves stick to that. I just cleaned it out again, even with ice all around the edges lol. Gotta stick my arm way down in the freezing water, not too much fun.

Im using some autozone/orileys paint by duplicolor paint shop series quarts. The color im using is deep blue. hey are pre-mixed so are ready to use. So far ive done everything minus the rear trunk and my front bumper and have pretty much 1 quart left of paint.

Avoid at all cost the duplicolor clear coat, white spots start forming in less than a week so i went ahead and got the clear coat that walmart sells for the spray gun. Its a high gloss clear found in the auto section.

so i used 3 quarts of paint and clear at $25 a piece so $150 plus a $10 harbor freight gun.

Of course the gun is garbage and will leave you orange peel but no biggie it can be wet sanded and then buffed for the best look ever. Ive already done my side mirrors and jizzed uncontrollably.

Ill post up pictures later in the day but ill show this one....

not looking too bad. it looks like it will be a nice finish once it is all done. i was planning on using paint from paintscratch.com. its a bit more expensive at 347 bucks for a gallon of paint and 145 for a gallon of clear. but i wanted to get a good idea of how much i will need before ordering. dont want to run out while painting the car. so you say just 3 quarts? how many coats are you putting on of each?

i was originally going to get it from this other site but they dont ship to california for obvious reasons

    i have 3 and 3 coats

id say 3 quarts should be enough....heck since you dont have my low body kit you might end up with more paint.
