Normally, I'd talk about the dangers about having only half an exhaust, but cbass is already a ghost anyway so it doesn't matter.

yeah....... I think that's part of the problem. You really should put that muffler back on ASAP before you loose even more brain cells.

So the fewer chemicals you're breathing, the better. Time to put a muffler on.

My friend did a MT swap on his civic and his exhaust was fucked up, all the fumes from his piping and even muffler would leak through the center console and shifter.
I probably lost half a days worth of memory riding with him, but worth it. That car pulls HARD.

The cat cuts down on emissions.

I thought you meant you had the cat sitting somewhere to reinstall.

But you should totally put your car on and stick your face in the tail pipe, see what happens.

I was given $350 from my insurance for the repair, the police filed a report, filled out papers with my lawyer, went to the chiropractor for him to give me paper work of my injury and blablahbla. Signed papers, turned in papers and now i play the waiting game....This is my 3rd time doing this

The guy who did the smog was looking for the muffler to stick that thing they insert into it but never found it until he got on his knees and saw the pipe and laughed...

It passed smog fine, i can even upload the sheet they give you after so you can see the score

Wow, why are they so anal about smog in cali? In Oregon they stick the thing in my exhaust run it for a minute and I pass. Oh and they do the diagnostic by the foot area.

If their boss wasent there they probably would have just looked at my car, said "clean ride," and let me go with a pass. ;)

How did they do the test then cbass?

The Corolla sucked 110%, but the IS300 just plugs in and I'm done.

    LOL at hummers post.

In 2013 they are eliminating the exhaust pipe test in california, basically they are going to replace it with something else, not too sure but i was told by my uncle and a friend. I should read up on it.

But what puzzles me is THAT, he did the test even tho i had no muffler...

When i did take it to get it tested it failed smog because of p0500 speed sensor malfunction...they told me maybe because the corolla is smart and they computer knows it aint moving but the speed is moving. I LOL'ed:rolleyes:

They finally removed the thing they plug under the dash while it did the test, IDK WTF they did but it passed
