that has crost my mind before

but that would cost 9000 for the car then 4000 for the turbo set up and it will push about 240 hp so it has been a thought

now remember i am a collage student with two jobs so to get the loan for the car is imposible

Think about this XRS are rare and hard to buy , So what if you dont turbo it right away but you will have a XRS will eventually be valuable down the line and when you add the turbo then you know you have a gold mine :)

Doesnt hurt to ask all around , Some people dont come on here or on Corolla Car Club or toyota nation & Tune My Toyota because they might like all the forums or the people . So you ask and you get a broad idea . Some people have different reasons you choose the one best for you .... Maybe if all the forums work together Corolla's might be out there more then Honda's :)

Now you see why people post on other forums the same question ??? :)

I say keep the Corolla and use it throughout college until you graduate. Once you're out and making money, you'll have a much bigger budget to buy a much better car.

i agree back in the day turbokits.com had junk turbo kits and crap customer service but if you notice they dont make for 7geth or 8thgen anymore only 9thgen.the price i gave was from my friend who work in a car shop that gave me a estimate price around $4k-$5k it all depends on the size of the turbo gt28,gt30,gt35 or 50trim and the turbo manifold works with a/c so its all in the person and the option they want.
