    Wow that is pretty wild.

    About the question about if the Matrix AWD drivetrain fits the 98-02. It does bolt up. However, in order for it to fit, a large section of the firewall has to be removed. And that is out of the question since, the drivetrain will literally be in the cabin of the car. Can we say very hot? lol The AWD kit used on the celica is the way to go but for 1700 plus labor, it's probably better to just invest that money in a car that is already AWD.
