I know this dude, at least I'll be stablishing my credit so that's what counts at this point of time. The mazda is ALL fucked up now that I found out since they did an inspection on it yesterday so this Corolla opportunity couldn't have came at a better time since I would've had to buy a new car either way.

nah unfortunately I don't yet since I just started work here at John Elway Jeep so yea..... nothing else to do but pay plus life doesn't have a cost so it's all good. I'm selling my Protege for $1200 to this one dude so I'm puttin maybe like $800 a hospital payment and then putting the rest into the bank for car payment or some other bills.

Ok...so Josh over at CrawlerTek just blew my hopes and dreams out of the water.
All the research I've done has told me that re-gearing the front and rear end to a 4.10/4.11 will compensate for the 35" tires I'm going up to.

Josh just told me I'd need to go up to probably a 4.56 front and rear. He quoted me $1600 for the IFS up front and the Toyota 8 Inch Axle in the back.

I just called Yukon Gears...and they want $199 for the front gears and $229 for the rear.

What do you guys think?

Well fuck, it's gonna cost me that much to re-gear I about to rip the IFS out and just go full bore, do a SAS on the front, run Dana 60's front and rear, 6" Suspension lift, 4" body lift to stuff 39" tires under there....

Fuck...to do the lift, I need rims and tires...there's $4000 right there...to do it correctly I need somebody else to put the lift on...there's probably another $1000...I obviously don't have the drive-train knowledge to replace my own gears even with a master install kit... then a speedo-recalibrate...

Fuck....to do just all that...just to call it lifted and done is getting close to $9000....

    ...A 1-home income just can't support that...

My shopping list on this truck right now, with assumptions on the turbo system (which is now a must have in a couple years) along with a few other body mods...I'm probably gettin' close to what you spent on the old rolla.

I need a girlfriend or something to help me pay for this.

We're fortunate...my ER visit, my x-rays, my three appointments with the orthopedic, my surgery, 3 prescriptions and two days in the hospital cost me 80 bucks out of pocket.

    Hospital bills are outrageous...

I remember my stint they moved me from ICU into a regular room for one more day of observation...they put me in there for 15 minutes, sent me home and slapped us with the charges for the whole day.

It's amazing to me still how much health costs are...

My surgery, 4 days in a standard room and 7 days in ICU was close to $400,000.

You ever seen one of those little 8 oz Coke cans? $7.50 in a hospital.
Son of a bitch, I could have walked downstairs to the machine and had 20 oz. for $6.00 less.
