Now you know it's cold, when the thermometer at my place is flashing...and the two CDOT signs I spotted (I-25 & 38th, I-70 & Colorado) had messages on them. The message was, "..."

And on another note...I got a set of brand new BFGoodRich All-Terrain T/A Ko's that should be in mid-morning. New tires for meeee!

Bite the bullet and quit your bitchin...you gotta do what you gotta do.
Not directed at you, but too many people these days complain that they "aint got no job", blah blah blah.....there are jobs out there for anyone that wants a job. It may not be what ya really want to do, but oh well......

And I thought you were working at the hotel and the dealership

Well in defense of the shitty Dueler's that are on there now...those trailer-whips were all the trailers. In 4WD of the back-end of my truck slips, the front usually keeps it under control. Running trailers like that, if they go over a patch of ice...there isn't much to keep them from going one direction or another. That's why when a trailer slides a little bit like that, the best thing to do is to just keep accelerating, and they should pull back straight again. I got tires yesterday in a rush, because my Dueler's are down to about 1/4 tread left...and they are really starting to suck balls. :(

who said I'm bitching? I just don't like the job and if I don't feel comfortable doing the job I won't do it, yes there's plenty of jobs out there which is why I'm looking for one. and no I wasn't working at the hotel and the dealership and the same time.

If you don't like the job and the environment, you won't do the job efficently, thus resulting you getting laid off. I worked at Allstate for about 2 1/2 months and started to hate the job. I didn't like just sitting there doing policy updates when neither agent was there. Resulted in me quitting the job cuz no one was around to help me with some area's I wasn't familiar with or trained on. Also, the job economy this time of the year is mainly temp for the holiday season and permanent jobs are hard to find this season. On the other hand, the jobs are out there, just need to be found. Once the season passes, the jobs will open up and alot of opportunities will arise. I'm just glad I got my job when I did. I'm not trying to start anything in case someone takes it that way, just how it works here in co during this time of year as I'm sure it works in many other states.

oh i entirely get your point mike don't get me wrong, that's exactly what I meant. The stress and shit from the mortgage company drives me nuts, I'm a person that has to be outside or at least moving a lot, not locked up in a cubicle for 9 hrs dealing with paper work and phone calls. I just can't do a job properly like that.

Alot of people are like that.

I too, HATE doing paperwork and sitting in a chair all day. I can do it, but not for an entire day. I have to go do something else about every half-hour.

Of course you jump out of one fire and usually right into another one.

I love pretty much most of my job, but truck drivers with no brain get extremely aggravating after about 20 minutes. A few of my customers are a real pain in the ass.

But that's the price of the working world.
Everybody deals with their own little nuisances.

oh yea I'm not saying that there's is a perfect job out there, hell I wish there was but this job I had at Phil Long Jeep was kick ass cause when it wasn't busy I sat down doing nothing or just walking around making sure the lot was fine and I was still getting paid. Free bfast and lunch on saturdays, 1 hr break, all benefits and all I had to do is wash the cars and get them prepped up for the costumer and lock the lot, I loved it since it was car related, it's what I like to do and be around.

I wasnt directing it at you......but too many people complain that they cant find a job, and in reality, they need to be saying "I cant find a job that Ill like 100%". Well, in order to survive, ya may have to bite the bullet and do a job that you arent happy with to make ends meet.

I'm going to go way off the current topic here, but I want to shout another big Thanks to T for letting me freeze my balls off in his garage last night.

The new tires are awesome. I pulled out of his neighborhood last night in 4WD and damn near full-throttle with no tire spin. :D :D :D :D :D

Plus they look way cooler than my balding Bridgestone's did.

Edit: I just have to give Damir shit about this too:
I took off all 24 lug-nuts and didn't break any studs sucka!

STFU!!!! hehehe eh they were old as fuck what can I say, plus the dumbasses at Discount maybe over tightened those fuckers..... oh well that was old news, car is been out of my hands for about 3 months already, I do however miss it but oh well there will be another chance to get another one later on. In the mean time it seems like Tercel it is, up until I can find a job and save up for something newer but I have no rush on it, I'm sure this car will run fine for a while. The job hunt seems to be turning out fine, I've had a few calls for interviews and what not. But well dude glad u put ur tires on and now u won't have to worry about much but the lift, S/C and wheels :D

He's got a point...if I only had the money to buy a Geo Metro, I'd buy one...just to have wheels.

    So much better than walking.

Oh and Damir, I guess you didn't hear, no forced induction on the Tundra. She's gonna get headers and exhaust, + lift and that's it.
I drive it way too much in too many conditions to supercharge or turbo it. I'll save F/I for the Trans-Am.
