That will all be used up for first months rent, deposit, and initial utility hookup, insurance premium, etc. Save up at least 7k, and youll be prepared to move out.

For most people, if you don't have any renters history, they ask for the first and last month's rent up front as a downpayment, including your downpayment and hook-ups as well as any fees. When I first moved in to an apartment, the downpayment was somewhere around $1800.

Whatever you name it, for god's sake...don't name it Shadow.

That is above and beyond the MOST over-used dog name on the face of the planet.

haha shadow ... last dog that i had (wasnt mine but it was my roommates) was named Kitty. A pitbull, named Kitty. She was so badass tho... lots of fun. :)

I'll never own another dog tho, i personally have too much shit to do than to take care of a dog.

Speakin of shit to do... DR you comin up tonight for the camaro raping ceremony? (we're pulling the frame tonight) I think 7M is comin over to witness/participate in the event as well.

    Proudly display on your Corolla:
    "Powered by Camaro!"

And proudly display on your Camaro:
    "Powered by Corolla!"

...you'd have people scratching their heads for days.
On the topic of the Camaro, what made you keep the original block as opposed to putting in a higher powered crate motor?

I sold the higher powered crate motor to put up for money on my house? lol

Quite honestly I came to a decision that I was going to restore (but not completely back to original) the Camaro into a nice weekend roller. I don't need the most high powered motor to run that. I'm quite happy with my 327. It packs a punch and it sounds great. What more do I need? I really dont. It will most definitely *NOT* ever be a car I mod into a race car. I *MAY* put an S/C on it, but that would be the limit of major motor mods for it. I don't see any point in messin up a good thing. :)

That's one good solid answer. And probably the best idea for muscle cars out there. Nothing crazy...just "restore," and roll it!

Edit: I wish my dad would get his act together and go buy his '70 SS Chevelle that he's wanted to work on for...20 years.

2nd Edit: Well, Orlando is going to New Orleans to pull bodies out of houses...isn't that nice. At least he's getting a leave of absence and he'll be back in a couple months.

well the dog is $700 is a pure white Siberian Husky and my mom put a bit more than half and I put the rest down so it's kinda the family's really. I did it more cause my little brother and sister want a dog so it's more for their enjoyment since I'm working or out doing other things but a dog around the house would be nice though, the first few weeks are a pain since the dog is getting used to the house but after that it's all good hehehe
