ummm the helmet his giving me is kinda beat up but still wearable and the jacket isn't leather is like some kinda nylon based jacket but it does have padding.... about the add ons the only things I can remember is the pipe, brand new front tire, I think brakes are new too and the clutch.... is it really a good deal? Cause if not I won't buy it. Bike shape is really good and my step dad drove it last night and loved it lol

Never take a hand me down helmet. Set aside a few hundred bucks for a new helmet.

Helmets are designed to take ONE impact, and you dont know if the shell is cracked unless you get it x-rayed. For racing karts, Ive always used Simpson helmets.

I had just got a brand new Simpson Super Bandit helmet custom painted, and ended up flipping at the end of the straightaway, and cracked the inner shell of my helmet. Essentially 800 dollars totally down the tubes, all at once.

I still have three of the super bandits, and have used them to ride bikes with....great helmets that I trust.

Shoei and Arai make good helmets too, but Ill always stick with Simpson.

Definately invest some money on a new helmet cause you never know what he had done with it. As e_andree they're only made to take one impact and even just dropping it or slamming it hard would break the shell. Pipes are cheap add-ons and I like a little padding in my jacket and leather to cushion the fall and leather won't ripe when your sliding on the road unlike nylon that'll ripe more easily and give you road rash if you fall off your bike. I think that's not a bad deal, but he's kind of asking a little too much for the bike even with all the stuff included.

indeed... a simple drop to a helmet can and most always does ruin a helmet. hehe i dropped a brand fucking new Shoei on the floor of my garage once... think I put that bitch on? hell no. Good thing too -- it was most definitely cracked (however I couldn't see it with the naked eye) and had I gotten in an accident, it'd have been more than likely over for me as the shell could possibly have split off on impact. tryin to save a few hundred bucks is NOT worth losin your melon over.

I'm gonna ask him if he drops the price to 4100 or 4000 even without the gear... all I really need is the pipe... like I don't need the racing clutch and shit cause I'm not gonna be doing none of that, I'm just gonna cruise the bike and stay alive u know so I'll talk to him about that and if he says no then FOOK IT all the money into rolla end of story :D

yea well I can keep the gear his giving me for now and ask him about the clutch if he just puts the stock one back since I don't race in bikes, too damn scared of dying so yea.... well I dk hopefully we'll come to an agreement and if we don't then I guess the bike riding crave will have to wait for 5 yrs cause all money going into rolla :D

yea true..... but well we'll see how it turns out. I just like the bike cause it rides nice and smooth and like it's never been dropped or anything of that sort plus the guy is gonna let me pay him a month since I know Andy (DeebsTundra) so this is one hell of an oportunity for me you know but if it doesn't happen I'm not gonna push it to make it happen.

LOL, you should have seen this bike a couple weeks ago when the timing was still off. You could rev the bike up to about eight grand...it would sound like an F1 car...and then about 8500 you'd get a 4 foot flame blasting out the back. It was sweet.
Fortunately it no longer does that.
