Nice going there T! lol.... How's things up in the CULD-A-SAK!

Which car did you end up getting? I know Bob and Novak want to get another meet going, those meets at sonic are weak and just bunch of tools and posers.... I start work this week hopefully so I'd be down for another meet soon before the cold weather moves in, maybe do a fall quick photoshoot or something.

Feeling the love yo! lol How u been man?

i bought a rebuild kit from the toyota dealership for like 2200(plus some extras like a clutch, water pump, belts and hoses) since i didnt feel like researching and deciding what after market parts to buy.

Movie, I'm going to be honest man, you show a real trend toward laziness in regard to parts. I'd be afraid you would do something like buy a stock rim from a dealership so you didn't have to work. Then you'd end up paying $400, when you could have gotten an aftermarket rim for $80 that looks way better.

My suggestion to you: Quit taking the easy way out. Because 95% of the time when dealing with cars, the easy way is the most expensive way.

Take for example my current interior project. I could do it the easy way. Walk down to the dealership and pay $450 for one door panel. Or I could take a couple weeks, hit up a bunch of junkyards and ideally find one for $30 bucks. Grab a buddy to hit them with and it's not so much of a chore.

You could have bounced around a few junkyards and probably found an intact motor with 80k miles on it for under $800, rather than blowing $2200 on a rebuild kit. Not like those of us on the north end don't have a lot of experience pulling and dropping corolla motors. Lord knows Vortexx has had his out enough.

I'm not trying to insult or aggravate you. But shit man, money is hard to come by these days. Don't so freely throw it at people when you can save a lot in a lot of different places.

i found a used motor that i wanted to drop in. but since the car isnt technically mine, my dad didnt fly to well on that. it wasnt really my choice. but i bought the car off him so its mine now. i know i take the easy way out because its eazy and i am lazy and dont feel like looking around =\ plus its something i wanted to figure out how to do. and also..i had my car out of commission for a month and we werent sure what we were going to do. so i got really pissed off one day and just went and got it

This coming from the guy who pays the dealership?

you know those things from the delership at 105 and my cost is 77 and you're offering 5 bucks for it!? pssshhh...

Sure thing, it's just hangin around. It was white, then primered so you'll need to find some paint close to yours to repaint it. :)

Some peeps from 9gc are meeting at the Shell on I25 and Colfax if some of you guys want to join us. We are going to take pictures so submit for the 9gc calendar and just hangout for a while so we'll probably wait for people for about 20 mins to 30 mins max and then take off.
