Cell phone: What service do you have?

i think cingular is winning...

i think their free mobile to mobile is winning people over not only cuz its free to make calls to other cingular customers, but to AT&T customers as well so theres that broad network....i kno thats what sold me...

I have the i860 for Nextel. I have no complaints with them. I think its mainly what area you are in. I know in NJ, my sis said she never had good reception with Nextel but with her Sprint, its off the hook. Down here in my area, Sprint sucks ass but Nextel is good. No matter where I go, I always have reception.

The downside of Nextel:
1. Plans are expensive but good plans.
2. Phones are expensive.
3. Text messages sometimes take forever to receive.

i think the closest nextel tower to jersey is in newyork...but theres a code u can enter into ur nextel that the cops use that you can use any tower and not be roaming or anything

I don't know where the towers are in HI. People complain about it but they like the 2-way feature and they pretty much feel like their stuck with it.:OhWell:

that's because they bought ATT Wireless. ATT Wireless no longer exists.

eh I'm happy with T-mobile so far, text messages get fast, great reception throughout denver and colorado area (except within the mountain of course) but no complaints from my part.

I hear Verizon is off the hook with reception and barely ever roams throughout the US. I know here in VA/MD/DC, Verzion is supposed to be the best out of everyone.

No mine is ok. nothing ever has been faulty with it.

Anyone here have Boost or Amp mobile? Because if you hook those up you will become a rock star or celeb according to there comercials. And I especially like the message that is at the bottom of the screen during the comercials that says the screen on the cell phone was simulated

CINGULAR SUCKS they ripped me off last year for about $150 bucks...now im with T-MOBILE..and using a side kick 2..

sprint tacked on about 600 minutes to my phonebill a couple years ago, conicidentally, it was the last phone bill before my contract was up....at which point they agreed to waive the extra charges if i agreed to a new two year contract.

I had sprint but I could never get any service...especially in Waco tx...I would have full bar and my calls would drop ALL THE TIME.

When I moved to austin I had almost no service.

I am now with alltell..altell...sp?...any way and the service is pretty good...I haven't found an area yet that I don't have service. I've only gone analog once...a few towers were down...and a few time here at my house...but very rarely. With sprint I coudn't get service.


My two roomies had cingular...supposed to have unlimited mobile to mobile and unlimited nights and weekends...they had the EXACT same plan...but were always getting charged when they called each other...and when they would talk during nights...so they dropped them like a bad habit.

Oh well...what can you do...act...the fool?
