    car broke down.

QQ was getting bad piston slap so i pulled over. turned the car off...waited...cranked back up but had no power....i was at like 4k revs doing 15 in 1st gear....figured i lost compression in the engine...so im leaving it where i parked it until monday and am going to drop it at the shop monday morning.

Update: most likely getting a new car.

I thought your "engine was toast" already. It was still running? So are you going to get another engine? Seems like the most economical thing to do.

the car is a money pit at this point. the amount of money he said he would have to pay out to fix it would not be worth it.

Time to upgrade. Corolla's are boring. Just save the wings and jet turbines for the next car. :D

bring it down to GA or ship it here and we can get it running for a lot cheaper and you would be a lot happier with it

How much? You DO have your centercaps right?

Amen. Im sure you can find beater cars for cheap. The other day someone posted 600$ on a 94 corolla. It looked ugly but I bet it can still go 50k with minor work.

Movie, find a friend that has a truck and tow your car to Vortex's house.
