yep. i'm not surprised DC picked up on it, since this has moved TONS of gm vehicles out of dealer showrooms.

tons of people have been smart, and got their hands on the Saaburu 9-2x Aero(yes, it's a WRX in Saab clothing), as well as a ton of trucks. all i've been seeing leaving our lots in the past month have been trucks, where the biggest discounts/incentives lie. it was a smart move for Chevy, and i'm sure it'll help DC.

actually the SAAb 9-2x in my area has fallen flat in the face. SAAB does really good in the nothern areas and the midwest...but down south its like pulling teeth!

e - that was pre-ecotec. the ecos are better but still poopy.

christian - heh...looks like i might be making a trip to Norfolk to see a guy about a car for a friend. the 9-2 is GONE around here...and i know a guy who just tried to get one in new england the other day. he got the LAST one, after scouring every dealership in the whole of the area.

the dealership o work at here in Newport news actually wholesaled them cuz of the bad turnover rate on them. So SAAB of Newport news doesnt have anymore 9-2x i think but i can be wrong prolly BAy SAAB of norfolk (where i use to work) may have one. im 2 mins away from that dealership.

Damn, sucks I can't afford the payments even at the dropped price. Hell, the only one I could afford is a damn Neon. :( I need a damn truck so bad. I just got done straining my back, smashing my fingers, and banging my head to get my engine hoist into the Durango.
