News Broke up with gf of 2 years

I don't think she's found someone else necessarily by that statement of still loving him but not being in love with him.

I broke up with my ex because this is exactly how I felt about her. I was with her for a little over a year and a half and after so many fights and arguments, I felt like I wasn't in love with her anymore. It wasn't the same after the last fight we had. It wasn't the same after one too many lies were told to me. After being taken for granted.

Let her be. If she comes back to you then good for you. If not, just keep yourself busy and as hard as that is and as easy as it may seem for me to say right now, it's one of the few ways to get over heartaches. If you're in your room all the time constantly reminiscing about the good times, you're gonna be in that stage for a much longer time than you'd wanna put yourself through.

Nah, I'm not cooped up in my room. I'm going out to work on my car and organizing a Corolla meet bbq/bonfire! I'm keeping myself very busy. We ended on good terms, so she hasn't given up hope yet. She just wants time apart to set her life straight and take care of her priorities first.

There are plenty of good people in this world to meet. Move on and have fun doing it.

You read the same thing I did..... She did find someone else she just doesnt want to tell you .....I know from experience too..... If you think she needs a summer break to think it over and is gonna be at home all sad while your out being single looking at other women then your really gonna be hurt when you see her with a new guy ..... But the only way any of us can learn is only from experience and may yours be not so brutal..... You have many friends on here to cheer you up .... Keep your head up buddy ....

wondering how much experience you have? I've had plenty of times when a girl has broken up with me but i've never had my ex's break up because they found another guy. Most broke up with me due to my rather busy lifestyle and they just felt I didn't pay enough attention to them. So I really never had a relationship last longer than 2-3 months until recently... hehehe.

That's how it is in this case. The relationship got dull because I didn't(still don't) have enough time due to my busy schedule. I'll just have to see what happens. Only time will tell. If we do end up getting back together, it would only make our relationship even stronger. "What doesn't kill you will only make you stronger."

guys feelings are a lot different then a girls. girl language (excuses) means something completely different then what a guy would mean. girls hint at what the true meaning is while guys will come out and say it.

i'd rather go offroading in a subaru or a landrover.

can't do much of any off road in a subaru unless it is flat dirt road.

Subaru are rally style off-road. Smooth Dirt Road. And my wheelbase makes Landrover's look like Subaru's.

Yes, I can't agree more. She was so shy at telling me her feelings that I had to guess every step of the way. It drove me insane.

Does your mutual friend like your EX? I find it strange that they told you not to worry about the breakup and that your EX is going to think it over during the summer, aka go see other guys in a 3 month period and then reasses her feelings about you. I don't see how that happens I'm going to leave the person I love for 3 months and see if my feelings change. My guess she's already found someone and just wanted to break it off amicably.

No it's nothing like that. We're still good friends. I don't like to abandon people just because our relationship went sour. She's not seeing anyone. She misses me a lot, but she says she needs time to sort out her personal issues. She's going through depression right now. I'm still her close friend, but I'm not waiting around. I've got a date this Monday. I don't see us ever getting back together from my point of view.

well it does suck to see something you have invested so much time into to be over. but like many people on here said it takes time to heal.. go out do things you like to do open up your social life again
