lol...i tend to disagree about the POS statement...

but then again, i'm a lover of classic american muscle...and love restoring them. i never see them as a POS...just a lot of potential :D

LOL....as you saw from my earlier msg...(64 Vette, 67 Shelby) I like em too. But the "average car"=daily driver, turns into a POS pretty quick! I love my Rolla so much, I'm gonna get a junker for the winter & keep the Rolla for summers! ;-)

Yea that is true, but with the cost of fuel now adays doing other things one the car to keep it running starts looking expensive

agreed about the daily driver...it ends up needing a LOT of upkeep to keep them nice.

i'm still looking for a 92 Z24(don't ask...lol) drop top for my daily...THOSE are FUN, and i won't care if someone hits it.

THAT's why I wanna buy a junker for winter! At least for 9 months I won't have to worry about getting hit! (Michigan= 9 months of winter, 3 months of tough sledding)

Yea winters are fun, I hate having to switch from rims to the stocks and then back again, that a lot of rubber that you have to buy, which gets costly

Amen, brother....I kept my stock rims & tires for winger driving, and keep the Fuzions and rims for the summer. Of course, we're still waiting for summer here. (40 deg tonight)

I hear that! Back in the old days...when I was young, American Racing (real) Mags & a set of tires cost $400. The cost of progress....

I just hope things settle down here soon. We've had 20 straight days of rain. Lots of places flooded here. 6' of water in basements, some 4' on the first floor, I just had flooded streets (couldnt get out last Fri & Sat) Ain't no way my baby is goin' out in that!

OK, here's a Q for ya.... Now that we're completey off topic about body kits. Since I have about $1200 to blow, and you've seen my ride, what do you thing about having the dealer put in "S" fog lights (around $ 450.00)?

    that would look good.

I dont know how involved with music you are, but you could also buy new speakers and a headunit, to replace the stocks

And sorry about getting off topic

how good are you with a dremel and wiring? those are an easy install DIY, if you're comfortable with the wiring part of it.

Sometimes I wish I had bought the "S", but I travel a lot in my job and wanted basic, cheap transportation.....until I started looking at Car Domain.com and thought, Damn, this looks like fun! Besides, it's more rewarding to trick it out the way you want it. I probably wouldn't have done this much with the "S"....
