did it make a ticking noise at all before it blew? bc mine did the same but idk if it was the plugs. after i bought mine i checked the plugs and all 4 were fried. and cylinder 1 plug was soaked in oil. i replaced them with ngk like the manual recommends. but a month later it did the same as yours and blew. im just wondering if thats what happened to mine. i didnt open the head to find out. but i did find an engine for 600 with 89k miles and got it swapped 4 hours later for 500.

yeah man and i go to the junkyard and ask for a 00-02 corolla 1zzfe and they are like nope it won't fit blah blah blah and i'm like believe me don't worry about that and they got stuck up kept saying the same thing pissed me off lol then tried to sell me a 98 for 700 with my motor given to them and i was like naw and walked out they are crazy -_-
