    my 2005 Corolla S has a slight squeak when the car is running, it doesnt get louder or anything i just hear it when im out side of the car, or stopped somwhere and my window is open, i believe its a belt squeaking, what could be causing this, and how do i fix it? Any info helps, please and thanks

    does the squeak go away when the engine is warmed up?

    Sure it's the belt? Could be a pulley.

    most likely it's just a slipping belt. Replace it with a quality belt like a Goodyear Gatorback. If you need a temporary fix until you can get to it you can buy a can of belt dressing from your local auto part store.

    Or you could also find a candle or bar of soap and rub some on the belt to temporarily quiet it down. But the best way is to just replace it with a new good quality one. It's not that hard to do.
