Its the height that makes them thin looking but they are a good size a chunky one if he is running a 205/45/16

The width of these look nice from the front and rear but next time that I need tires I'd like to get 215/40/16 if they wouldn't rub during turns on these wheels. That width would look just right, not too wide and would handle real nice in the rain without hardly slipping in the rain at all during takeoffs. I haven't had the chance to test how much improved from the 195 tires these are in the rain during takeoffs yet but I suspect they may still require pedal feathering.

Yeah it's just that one pic where they look skinny, probably because of the huge wheel gap or just the angle of the sun.

It was sun angle. For my use with the bad roads here the wheel gaps are pretty much where I need them to be now. Not too high or too low. Never liked that last pic of the car so I took another one that looks better.

x2 on 215 section tires. Next time I go to the track it's gonna be 225 up front and 215 in the rear.

I got them installed and a couple days later was hearing noise so got the shop to inspect and they installed new strut mounts and bearings. Thankfully they helped me on the labor and alignment since I'd just got that done a few days prior where it wasn't much cost. Problem solved and it's riding great now.

    Happy new year guys!
