now i have a question dealing with CAI and/or SRI...mostly SRI...my friend has a subaru wrx tr with a SRI and you can clearly hear the sucking sound when he accelerate, now i was wondering would we hear the same sound if we had an SRI with our cars, non-turbo?

Yeah, my 30 dollar generic SRI did that. My current ELP CAI does it too along with the whistle.

i know its kinda off topic... but since you guys are talking about "whistling" sounds... i just found out that my car has a very slight whistle when my a/c is on :ninjastea altho i can only hear it when at low to low-mid rpm range... lol

Thats very interesting... I do notice a slight negligible tone difference in the exhaust but no whistling.
