Engine AEM BYPASS VALUE

    The ABV should be placed BEFORE the MAF. This way, in the unlikely event it was needed, the MAF would be reading the incoming air. Placing it after the MAF results in air by-passing the MAF.....not good.

    sorry about that yea dont cut it after the MAF sensor... i meant to say before it but i was thinking the other way around.... ill post a pic tomorrow to show what i meant

    It's easy to confuse before and after when talking about ABV location. On our cars, it needs to be located between the MAF and the air filter, this would "before" the MAF. Bewteen the MAF and the throttle body would be "after" the MAF....not what you want. Ideally, the ABV needs to be as high as possible, somewhere behind the battery on our cars, but before the MAF.
