There it is!

So I have had Nokya yellow bulbs in my fog lights for a while, but they haven't been as yellow as I want. So on a trip to the junk yard I raided the fog lights off of a Lexus LS. I noticed they have yellow bulb cover things that looked about the size of the fogs on our cars, so I thought I'd give it a try, since Lexus cars always have nice fogs.
Here's the fog light ready to be opened up:


Few minutes in the oven:


Undo the screw holding in the center piece:


Here is the glass cover thing next to the center piece of the fog light:


Yes! It fits right in:


You can see it even reflects yellow in the housing:


Side by side comparison, you can see the yellow bulb by itself doesn't even look yellow anymore:


Makes a bigger difference on the ground:


Since I had the lights open anyway, I thought it would be a good time to black them out:


Three coats of high temp paint:


Also wanted to paint those center pieces:

Paint dry, tape removed, everything ready to go back together:
