The grille logo and trim are from press' car. And I just had a party for my daughters birthday, so that's where a lot of money went.

Primered the front bumper and grille to match the car. Now I just have to finish up with the hood.

Did you primer it while it was still wet?

And FYI, it's not on even... it's lower under the driver fog light than the passenger.

But it will look good once it's all finalized!! And you were smart to bolt yours in the middle.... I didn't and that's why I don't have it anymore lol.

Yeah I'm just test fitting it first, there are gaps along the sides of the bumper. I heard these were notoriously bad-fitting and it's true. And no I didn't primer it while it was wet, I took a pic while the primer was wet lol

Yeah these lips don't fit at all and are the worst quality ever LOL.

But I thought the point of primer was to be rough to help paint stick to it?

if you drive with the paint like that all sort of shit will just stick to it and wont come off even if you wash it and you will need to resand it down. of course im going to resand mines when it gets time but ill thrown another coat of primer, my uncle has all the primer in the world lol

Oh, yeah I've never really driven with primer, I always paint immediately.

Too bad your uncle doesn't have all the paint in the world!

Alas, I don't think that there are any high-quality body parts left for our cars, unless you can find the MollyDesign TRD parts.

Well I know you've already got the paint lol.... but you've also already got the primer, but you still mentioned your Uncle had a lot of it!
    Added: Aug 20, 2012 10:47 PM
And good job Mack! Now it's perfectly even and I can bear to look at it lol. It definitely looks proper with the lip, even all blotchy primer. Do you have side skirts and rear lips at all anymore? Or do you require bumsecks for that information haha :D
