Not a scammer because I'm not collecting money for products I don't have.

I'm just Lazy and the lack of interest by forum members didn't motivate me either.

Nice try at try at the Troll though

Just better handling. The Ultra Racing rear bar really helped with handling. However I can feel that the front could use a thicker one.

So what are your guys opinions on the thickness of the bar for the corolla? 25 or 29 mm?

I'm asking the racer experience drivers

I will need to measure my bar. Doubt anyone here knows enough suspension dynamics to offer any feedback beyond, "feels good/bad"

My understanding is that it's not just the diameter of a bar that matters, but rather the respective diameter of both the front and rear bars together. If the ratio is off, you'll get over or understeer. I got my sway bars based on the ratio of front/back diameter to eliminate over/understeer! And it worked lol...

That's why I was asking. Because I read all that. If you get a 29mm front and stock 14mm rear. It won't feel as good as an upgraded 19mm rear.

So would it be better to be 25mm front and 19mm rear if both were to be upgraded?

Maybe you said it somewhere... but what are the stock diameters? I know that the car, being FWD, tends to understeer, so you'd want to increase the REAR strut bar more than the front.

Like mine is RWD, and I wanted it to understeer less, so I got bars that increased the rear thickness by a lot more than the front.

    Stock:
    Front: 27.4mm
    Rear: 13.4mm

    TRD yellow sways:
    Front: 30mm
    Rear: 19mm

    Difference:
    Front = +2.6
    Rear = +5.6

Now the car doesn't over or understeer.... all 4 tires hold great until they all break together lol. Perfectly balanced!

    Stock Corolla bars:

    Front: 22mm
    Rears: 14mm

I'd go with the 25/19 then..... heck, I'd even leave the stock front and do the 19 rear if I was pinched for money!

Yeah. I'm thinking 25mm. But all buyers need to agree since they're purchasing. They maybe able to make different sizes?

People who installed the 29mm Hotchkis front and 19 mm rear were very happy with the results. Those bars are hollow so I believe a slightly smaller diameter Solid bar would do the same work.

You never really gave details on the rear bar you got. What is the diameter of that one, compared to stock?

the Ultra Racing rear bar is 19mm compared to Stock 14mm.

It did make a huge improvement on creating a bit of over steer.
However I can feel that the front has too much roll still. So a front
    sway bar is needed.

I just got this from the UR rep,

    Hello,

Price will be Rm 520 for 25mm front (Without bushing and excluding shipping fee), 29mm would definitely reduces the body roll by a lot but we are worrying it could not as acceptable to some people (Different car set up, different driving style, etc). 25mm should be just fine for normal driving, extreme drivers with proper suspension and tyres set up could go for 29mm."

Oh and 520 RM = $164 US dollars

I just got the answer from him.

    Hello,
That sounds great. Another question. Are we limited just making 1 size? or can we order some 25mm and some 29mm on the same order and shipment?
    Irvin

    Hello,

It is possible ! Anyway please let us know the confirmation on the units for each of the sizes once decision has been made.

Sounds good, I'd probably go with 25 mm just so that it's better balanced, but having the choice of 25 or 29 is best.
