    I actually fit a hood in the back of my car and drove 120 miles with it.

    See above. This was before I had my roof rack. Which I also use, and have used to move the hood again. And a couch. And a bookcase.

    oh dang!! it does fit?! figuring out how to transport one from Pennsylvania was the reason why i didnt get some carbon fiber hood on CL!

    "easier" is an EXTREMELY relative term. You have to unbolt the two bolts in the inside of the center console and take it out, put the seats all the way forward, and tilt them forward, wiggle-waggle the hood in through the back doors, with the front of the hood touching the bottom of the floor, and the two little points of the hood just barely fitting up at the top of the rear window. Put the seats back as far as you can, which turns out not to be very far, which makes the 120 mile drive back home very uncomfortable for your 6 foot 1 body. Believe me, this is the ONLY way to fit a hood on the inside of an 8th gen. We tried every other angle and way in. The top of the hood has to be facing up too, the curve of it doesn't allow it go upside down. Took a good half an hour.

    Sounds like when i drove all the way up to washington (3 hours away) to pick up a door, i could barely fit that beast inside...
