I live in Canada Calgary. If i were to get a turbo for the 3sgte what would it be?
and with the turbo it comes with already is that good enough to put an intercooler in?
or i have to buy a separate turbo? Yes i was actually planning to go to that phenox tuning place but i dont want to drie all the way there. and then half way to my hometon have a big probelm with my engine

As many 3s swaps Doc has done, you won't have any problems with the swap. Just make sure you get a engine from a reputable importer so you don't get a junk engine. He is currently building a 3sgte to put in a celica convertible he picked up. The turbo that is on it is gonna be fine for you now and yes you can put an intercooler on it. I think they come with a top mount but you can do a front mount on it. You are probably going to be putting around 200 to the wheels and that is going to be a lot to get used to right off the bat. You will be tripling your wheel hp or at least I did. I went from a 4afe putting around 80 to the wheels to a 4agze putting 160 down and then to the twincharged putting 215 to the wheels and it is a blast. You may not even want to go higher than just the stock 3sgte unless you are going for a track beast. I would talk to Doc. He may even sell you the one his is rebuilding which is BA!

Why not start with a tube frame chassis and make the Corolla body fit it? Probably end up spending the same amount of money fabricating stuff - but be hell of a lot easier to get the running bits in order. Plus you retian the nice front rear balance - popping a 2JZ into a stock Corolla chassis and trying to keep the FWD layout places way too much weight forward.

What plans do you have to beef up the chassis, braces and rollcage not withstanding?

This is why I was saying earlier, people think a 2jz in a corolla would be sweet, which it would but I don't think most people realize how much work would be involved. It just wouldn't be worth it IMO.

your turbo kit needs to be custom,as for the gt28/35 either one should work fine
