I don't think Toyota will come out with a new Supra, there have been rumors and stuff but nothing is for sure though

It's all just rumours, they have been going on almost since it was last sold here in 98 (even though they continued selling it in Japan, unchanged, for a while)... if we see another performance car from Toyota, it will most likely be a Lexus (gotta beat Mercedes AMG now, heh)

Pictures of a concept vehicle don't mean that much :) Now, if you can find some pictures of a development mule, then i'll get excited about the prospect of a new Supra coming out (even though I couldn't afford it)...

So anyways, I decided to do some searching... looksl ike there is a development mule running around...

So if that really is a Toyota/Lexus being tested, then i'm a little more optimistic...

The proportions seem right, looks to be low to the ground, I like it too... if they have the 3.5 (making about 300hp) for the base engine, and keep it priced competitively (and with a Targa top :D) it should compete nicely with the 350Z, RX-8, S2000, etc. and if they have that V10 with 500hp (like it says in the article) as an option, then it could be a nice skyline (or ferrari for that matter) competitor :)

I think the new Supra is the Toyota Volta and it got gas mileage like our cars 38mpg and a 5sec 0-65km/h.

Supra was never affordable for most people and will never be. It is designed to compete with Corvettes and such. Celicas were made to be affordable for most people but those are gone now too. I guess you can grab the tC and throw in a TRD supercharger, would come out to same price as a decent Celica (new).

I never said the older ones we're any more affordable. I simply made a statement that the Supra (which, if produced, will be the only sporty car Toyota makes) won't be affordable... as in, i don't really care if they make it or not because I still can't afford one.

As nicely as the Celica handles, its just not fast at all.

The Scion tC (or any Scion for that matter) is not sold in Canada.
