dealers aren't allowed to markup on the scions, I believe. The price that is commercialized is with tags, frieght and everything. Says something somewhere about it.
Here in Northern virginia you see 10 grand markups all the time. I went to a ford dealership and they had 5 thunderbirds all going for 52 grand. I was like why so high and hes like they are rare, lol.

as they should have...they did a bad thing is overestimating the HP on the RX...i mean yeah, it's a nice car, and yeah, it's fast...but a lot of people bought them to take them to the track and were sorely disappointed.

At least Mazda gave the RX-8 owners very good choices: return the car, or get 3 years of free maintenance.

Unlike Toyota that misstated the hp on the Matrix XRS and gave owners a year subscription to roadside assistance..pretty frearking lame IMO.

Yes indeed, but they have the right to do so, or so they say.

Not only did RX-8 owners get dissapointed, Is anyone familiar with the Best Motoring Series! If U catch the one on the RX-8 "Rotary Reborn" they were dissapointed that the gear ratios weren't aggressive enough! So if u took the car to the track U'd be in for a hell of a surprise!!! When I saw that, I thought to myself "Hell naw I aint gonna try to save up to buy one!" It just lost the appeal that Mazda had been claiming the car had! They said the handling was on par, they tested it against the S2K, the G35 Coupe (Skyline) and a 3 series! Hopefully they fix the bug's on that car and bring out the car they promised! Let's hope they don't prove us wrong by making the new RX-7 atrue predecessor to the FD! As far as dealers screwing people over.... If u know anybody that's in that business U'd know that the things the general public are only the tip of the iceberg!!!! BASTARDS!!!!

"I take this driving shit deeply!!! So don't u ever think Ima let a bitch-ass driver beat me!!!" ---- modified 50cent lyric (just makes sense!!! And no I aint talking about female drivers)

wouldn't be a bad idea to bring back the RX-7...but i doubt it'll happen.

besides...i find the FC(with turbo II motor) to be more enjoyable than any newer car...the motors are tried and true...

the RX-8 is no performance car, IMO. the power, curb weight, brakes, and the interior configuration give it away. It's a nice, sporty car..but people who are looking at perfomance first (in that price range) would look at an Evo or a STi before an RX-8. Not saying that the RX-8 isn't a nice car (I've test-drivent it, it feels and handles nice), but it's no RX-7 (or Evo or STi).

No RX-7 huh.... very sad!!! I read in one of the Major U.S. car magz (Car & Driver, Motortrend...etc) that it might be hitting our shores 2007... they even had a drawing of it.( not saying that proves anything, but just mentioning that it looked BAD-ASS) But we all now rumors are rumors. But I've read and seen other magazines where they explain the RX-8 isn't a replacement for the RX-7, just an addition to the family. I agree The RX-8 is a sport's coupe, but it can't compete with an STi or an EVO (but then again who can... LoL) FC cars are enjoyable yes!!! HELL YES!!! a friend owns one! (don't mind being the Designated driver then....LoL) but from what i've read here and there if it comes out its engine is gonna be based on the renesis platform(can anyone say TURBO) and would be smaller and lighter than the RX-8. Wouldn't it be sweet. But like i said. Magazines like to SELL first, report facts second!

    lol...yeah.

fc was the most reliable of the rx-7 bodies...turbo II the most reliable motor. FD, unfortunately, is the most expensive of the family to maintain.
