¿Speaker Wiring?

    ¿Speaker Wiring?

    Total newbie to cars. I took out my front stock speakers in my Olla LE. I was wondering what would happen if I hooked up the two wires the opposite way, positive to negative and negative to positive instead of + to + and - to -. Thanks

    the speakers would move in the opposite to the direction they're supposed to be moving. If the signal would normally make them have a positive displacement (move out) they would have a negative displacement (move in) and it would sound like crap.

    People do this all the time with their subs if they mount them inverted (with the basket/magnet/etc. outside of the box.
