lower offsets do that, not higher. im just wondering what makes him say that +42 is the performance offset...

the wheel looks just fine, i agree. its the fit that could be better.
with a 7 inch wide wheel you should go with a +35 to +38 for a nice flush aggressive fit. but anything up to +48 should fit just fine, itll just look...
in case you werent aware already... adust the collar that controls the spring height all the way up, just before there is preload on the spring....

the helical lsd doesnt require a specific fluid like a clutch type. just use a good solid gear oil like redline mt90.
