you 'can' resurface crossdrilled slotted rotors but it's very hard to do it so most shops won't bother. btw, you don't want drilled+slotted rotors....
don't go with synthetic blend. it's got a lower frying temperature than both regular and synthetic. 5w-30 mobil 1 for you.
