    Shouldn't affect the microwave radar detecting, but for laser it's prefered to be up where the windshield doesn't scatter the beam too much.

    Good move. It's incredible what good cables (well shielded cables) make when you run them 15 feet in a enviroment as electrically noisy as a car.

    The 2003 Corollas CAN be done with one piece...see my post above (and Baby Lex's). I watched him do it, can provide pics if needed (no seams).
