as strange as it sounds... MANY oil change places have been found to not changing the oil filter.... it cuts down on their costs
also.... if your alternator is good, then when your car is running, it shouldn't have a funny idle because the alt should be at around 14.5 volts....
another FYI... you paid $10 too much.... all autoparts stores that i know of (and seeing that i work at one...) don't charge anything for electrical...

ugh..... i can turbo the 4agze i'm getting ($700 with tranny) for WAY less than $4,000.... more like.... sell the supercharger and use that money to...

the erratic idle could be due to the valves not seating right.... my old 4afe had that problem.... another ae92 owner had the exact same problem and...

actually almost all mr2's can do that..... and i don't have that one anymore anyways.... and my ae92 gets hot enough that it burned the chrome off of...

just leave the car in gear, and use a breaker bar to get the bolt off...... once the bolt is off, you need a universal puller to get the pulley...
4/7a-fe's have a MAP sensor (that is mounted on the firewall) and an air temp sensor (roundish plug on the intake tube)
go to a pullapart junkyard (where you go in and pull the parts yourself) and take the TB off yourself.... that way you'll have in mind how it goes...
