    just taking a shot in the dark, but looking at the dish on the pistons looks like it was 10:1 cr? so i would venture to say somewhere in the 14-16psi range should have netted 300+ but, im just guessing here.. lol

    I was running 7.5psi daily with 9.5psi high boost and got 300+ WHP with my setup. Here's the official mod list for those curious:

    Do you happen to still have a dyno sheet? would love to see the curve. Didnt see any mention of aftermarket cams, so are you saying you made 300+ at 9.5psi? If so thats hard to believe, not doubting you though

    I'll try to find the Dyno sheet. I have a couple. One clocking in just under 300, and the other a little over after a retune. I still have boxes that I haven't unpacked since I moved a few years ago. Might be in one of them.

    wow. such low boost and 300+ whp. and on 8.8:1. i assume this was on pump gas of course? i would really like to see the dyno graph if you can find it. i wouldnt expect a low comp 1zz to really come alive with such little boost.

    also, what was modified about the 2zz head gasket? that kinda peaked my interest.

    Yes, on pump gas. I also had the block bored out to 1.94 liters. I can't remember what I had to do to make the head gasket work.
