But you'd better not have an aftermarket intake under the hood!!

No dude I made a point that I **was** selling. My money situation had improved so it was not necessary to sell.

Short block reassemled. I took it apart again because I decided not to be a cheap a$$ and bought new pistons from
Toyota instead of using the drilled/modified old pistons. The new ones are pretty <3.

Spent all day today taking out the old engine, preparing the new one. Installing the new one and now finishing up installing the Supercharger. Allmost done!

Sorry I didn't see this one until just now.... Hope it's not too late..

The Supra guys go with shielded coax cable (RG5, RG6, RG58) with the shielding grounded on the ECU side only. They should have it at your local Radio Shack.

Here's a very in-depth guide that goes into how to take apart the connector. http://www.supramania.com/forums/content.php?135-Knock-Sensor-Rewire-Write-up-(code-52)
This guide shows grounding on the engine side, which works, but may result in corrosion down the line.

Have to check this thing out sometime.

Soo here are a few things you will need that I've found so far needed to 8th gen fitment.
-9th gen 1zz fuel rail or celica fuel rail- If you want to use the TRD fuel line connections.
-Different radiator. Not sure where someone thought a 93 Celica radiator would work but
It won't. The sides wont clear the condenser pipes. Max width to clear the condenser pipes
is 26 1/2 MAXX. The Celica radiator is 27+

Sooo I'm going to try a 93 Supra radiator. Looks like the right dimentions and proper inlet
and outlet positions. Here's a picture comparison between the 8th gen and supra (pre 93)

Yeah, the upper outlet of the radiator is too close to the Super. I'll take a pic of it later.

I got the Supra radiator today. It should be a perfect fit plus it's a bit thicker than stock.

Have you figured out the hood yet? you can just give it a bump like a is-f if you can find someone to do it. Think the more stock it looks the cleaner it is.

At least 155-165whp and 150-165 tq stock ecu stock trd ecu. When it comes to boosted engines. It's really hard to tell
how much you're going to make. The main key is tuning. With the right tuning I could get 165+easy.

It may not sound like much. But these kits are cheap now. So it's worth the price.

    Stock Corollas dyno around 110hp-100tq
Super Corolla dyno around 160hp-150tq minimum. Not bad. So far I've invested about $900 towards the project.
