    Emergency Brake Question

Does anyone know how to tighten the parking brake? I've noticed that I have to pull the handle up a lot higher now to make the car stay in place compared to about a year ago. I know it can be done, but I don't know if it's something that is easy to do with one person, or if I need special tools or whatever.

Its easy. Remove the center console by removing a couple oc bolts in the storage and a couple of screws on the side where the shifter is. Then you will see one bolt that sticks up with 2 nuts on it. Loosen the top nut and then tighten the bottom one. Tighten the top one to lock it in place. Installation is the reverse of removal

Ok I wasn't sure if it was something that is done under the car or something. I'll go take it apart now and see what I got. Thanks. I know how to take the console off already so that shouldn't be a problem. I've done this to my car in the past lol:

When dipshits cut me off, I actually do use it, so yes I suppose so. Although I keep the button depressed that way I can put it back down quickly in case the rear wheels lock up.

How is that a fail if I have never taken the car apart before? You can't do that in all cars.

Because, just like on TN, most questions can be answered by simply just getting out there and figuring it out. Just sayin. It builds character.

Well that was before I did anything of value to my car, and ir's not like I was saying I tried it and it was impossible, and I did search on here, I wasn't on TN when I posted this.
