60,000 mile service

60,000 mile service

I have one of those maintenance log that toyota gave me. My car is about to hit 60,000 miles and some of the things listed makes me very confused. I have highlighted them in red

it says:
Replace engine air filter
Replace engine coolant
Replace engine oil and oil filter
Replace air conditioning filter (avalon, camry)
Replace spark plugs (camry, echo, sienna)
Rotate tires
Inspect the following:
-ball joints and dust covers
-brake lines and hoses
-brake linings/drums and brake pads/discs
-differential oil???
-drive belts
-drive shaft boots
-engine valve clearance
and more

additional maintenance items for special operating conditions:
replace automatic transmission fluid
replace differential oil

-Am i suppose to change the spark plugs at 60,000?? and what brand do you guys prefer/suggest?
-do we even have a air conditioning filter? i believe we don't right?
-is there a way we can replace engine coolant by ourselves? or do we have to go somewhere and get it flushed?
-I believe there isn't differential oil in our corollas right?

i know some of these are dumb questions, but i just want to do it right. I just want your thoughts and suggestions since a lot of corolla's in this forum is past 60k miles.

spark plugs depend on if you have VVT-I or not... being a 2002 you do, I would say NKG iridium plugs... yes you can just drain and fill your coolant (don't forget to burp it), we do have a front diff but its part of your trans, would say no on the AC filter but that may be a cabin air filter...

Cabin filters arent an option in the Corolla till 2003 so you dont need to worry about that one. As for plugs, id recommend putting in what comes out so theres no confustion.
